Andrey Verevsky may have his assets in Switzerland stopped
Verevsky is mentioned in an extract from the Swiss Registry of debt obligations, writes Obozrevatel.
The Nyon District Debt Enforcement Authority in Switzerland listed debts owed by Andrey Verevskiy exceeding 26.5 million Swiss francs (around $30 million).
An extract from the Register of Debts states that claims of CHF 26,549,500 are registered under Swiss Federal Law on Debt Collection and Bankruptcy Article 8, with entry made on July 15, 2021, under application No. 10086900.
Legal advisers Valentina Davidenko mentioned that the application was submitted by QUERSUS INVESTMENTS LIMITED, a participant in a secured loan transaction for JV Agrodom.
In 2020, structures and individuals associated with Andrei Verevsky and the agricultural holding Kernel acquired 76% of Valentina Davydenko's JV Agrodom following the tragic death of people's deputy Valery Davidenko, the son of Valentina Davidenko.
Corporate rights were transferred due to a banking delay in transferring funds to pay interest under the contract for product supply by JV Agrodom from a non-resident company to another non-resident company acting in the interests of Kernel.
The Davidenko family is seeking to regain rights to Agrodom in court after obtaining a decision to invalidate the transfer of corporate rights. The conflict details are available on the Agrobaron website.
Creditor claims against the owner of Kernel were registered in Switzerland, assuming Verevskiy's residency and real estate in the country. The information was conveyed to Verevsky and his controlled company through Swiss bailiffs.
The debt registry information could significantly impact Verevsky's status and opportunities in Switzerland, possibly leading to loan denials and residency status issues.
The registered debt obligations could cause issues with Verevskiy's loans and residency status in Switzerland, potentially resulting in denial or requiring a reasonable explanation for non-payment.
