Investors filed a class action lawsuit against the owners of the large Russian service “Gigant” Denis Reshanov and Mikhail Valkovsky
Judging by the lawsuit documents, they are accused of fraud and bringing the company to a near-bankruptcy state.
The project investors are well-known domestic businessmen Pyotr Demchenko, Mikhail Kuchment and the Kekh Ekommerts company. They estimate the damage at 168 million rubles.
The lawsuit has already been registered with the Arbitration Court of St. Petersburg.
– We filed a lawsuit against partners whom we suspect of dishonesty. Instead of developing the high IT potential of the business, gaining a foothold in the HR market and honestly earning even more by wisely using the attracted investments, Denis Reshanov and Mikhail Valkovsky chose to withdraw funds from the business by creating an affiliated company and making it essentially a profit center – comments co-owner of “Hoff” Mikhail Kuchment.
