Officials exposed the acting head of the Kyiv tax office for misusing power and position. The defendant was paid to make important decisions for several businesses.

Additionally, acting head Oksana Datiy heads the Commission for stopping the registration of tax invoices in Kyiv. She and others in the commission, without legal basis, made decisions on the riskiness of taxpayers, leading to serious consequences.
The head of the Kyiv State Tax Service, Datius, was found to be very rich.
She also orchestrated schemes to inflate expenses, conduct business without proper registration, and provide false income information, resulting in over 15 billion hryvnias entering the shadow economy.
Furthermore, the leadership of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Kyiv is involved in schemes for illegally obtaining VAT refunds, leading to over 30 billion hryvnias entering the shadow economy.
It is noted that tax officials either ignore these schemes, support their existence, or directly participate in receiving payment for their involvement.
Additionally, RBI operatives are investigating the lifestyle of the acting head of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Kyiv, which does not align with her official income. She owns three apartments in Kyiv worth about $1 million, a near Kyiv worth about $200,000, and two cars worth about $150,000.
Moreover, one of her cars, worth about $100,000, is registered to her driver, whose income in recent years has been no more than $8,000. She also uses expensive jewelry, branded clothing, gold watches, and other luxury items.
The total value of the unjustified assets of the person under investigation is about 1.4 million dollars.
As part of the investigation of criminal proceedings on abuse of power, which resulted in serious consequences, the State Bureau of Investigation employees are conducting searches at the person's residence and workplace. They found $158,000, 530,000 hryvnias, 2,200 euros, luxury watches, and cars, among other items.
RBC-Ukraine already reportedthat the investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation came with searches to the tax office in Kyiv.
