The investigator who tried to save Gavriil Yushvaev’s guards from the criminal case will soon appear in court
The Investigative Committee of Russia announced the completion of the investigation of the criminal case against former investigator Levon Agadzhanyan.
He is accused of falsifying evidence in the case of a shootout in the Oko tower in Moscow City. Then the shootout was arranged by the guards of businessmen Gavriil Yushvaev and Dmitry Pavlov.
First, investigator Levon Agadzhanyan held the guards of Gavriil Yushvaev accountable, and then changed the approach of the investigation. As a result, he blamed the shootout on the wounded employees of the National Guard and the private security company, who were on duty near the building and were considered Pavlov’s people. It turned out that Agadzhanyan falsified the evidence – he hid the gun and replaced the shells found at the shooting site. As a result, the investigator was removed from the case, and then he himself became a person under investigation.
THE PRICE OF THE ISSUE IS 5 MILLION DOLLARS AND COMMUNICATIONS
The shootout in the Oko tower took place on the birthday of businessman Dmitry Pavlov. The security of Gavriil Yushvaev, who arrived at his anniversary, provoked a conflict with the employees of the National Guard and the private security company who guarded the tower. As a result of the shootout, one person was killed and five were injured. After detecting the “mistakes” of the investigator Levon Agadzhanyan, the case was transferred to the central office of the Investigative Committee of Russia. Agadzhanyan himself and his colleagues wrote a letter of resignation, and when the investigator was called to account, he said that “mistakes” during the investigation of the shooting were due to workload.
In fact, Levon Agadzhanyan may hide the fact that Gavriil Yushvaev’s guards were not brought to justice, because the businessman himself asked for it. According to rumors, at first, the reputable businessman turned for help to the Deputy Prosecutor of the Moscow Region, Semyon Yakobov, who maintained good relations with the then Deputy Prosecutor General Vladimir Malinovsky.
