Since 2006, Nazarbayev’s youngest daughter has owned a house worth 900 million rubles in north London.

The daughter of the former President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, Aliya, became the owner of a mansion in north London in 2006.

According to reports, she originally wanted to become a British citizen. It was for this reason that Aliya Nazarbayeva acquired real estate in the country’s capital. And she got the opportunity to buy a mansion in London only after the withdrawal of assets worth more than $300 million from Kazakhstan.

Aliya Nazarbayeva bought a house in the Highgate area for almost 900 million rubles. She also has real estate in the UAE, but until recently, no one talked about it. The information became public after Nazarbayeva had disagreements with her financial advisers. In 2006, she set up a foundation in Liechtenstein and entrusted her advisors with $150 million. Nazarbayeva then discovered that they had misappropriated her money. Aliya Nazarbayeva filed a lawsuit against the advisers, but in the end this dispute was resolved differently – with the help of a private agreement.

    NAZARBAEVS ARE RICH PEOPLE

In 2020, The Times newspaper published an investigation by SourceMaterial, thanks to which it became known who owns the house of Sherlock Holmes on Baker Street. Then it turned out that the land plots and houses from 215 to 237 on Baker Street belong to the family of Nursultan Nazarbayev. There were various rumors about the owners of the house of the detective from the work of Arthur Conan Doyle. For a long time it was not possible to find their names, but then there was a data leak. As a result, it turned out that the daughter of the former President of Kazakhstan Dariga Nazarbayeva and her son Nurali Aliyev owned the houses. However, formally the houses are owned by Farmont Baker Street Limited, owned by an enterprise from the UAE.

Lawyers for the Nazarbayev family did not respond to questions about the land and houses on Baker Street in London. At the same time, it was about real estate worth about 140 million pounds. At the same time, journalists said that Dariga Nazarbayeva owns a business empire worth $600 million.
