Rovno NPP will be inspected by a company with Russian roots
The new contractor of the Rovno NPP LLC Algiz Analytical Center had a Russian co-owner during the invasion. This is evidenced by the data of the Clarity-project and Opendatabot systems write Our money.
On November 24, Algiz, as a result of a tender, received a contract worth UAH 11 million to characterize the emission categories of level 2 ISA of two RNPP power units.
For many years, the owners of Algiz were Angelina and Igor Sergeyevs, registered in one apartment on Zdolbunovskaya street in Kyiv. According to search and analytical systems, the man has Ukrainian citizenship, and the woman Russian. Angelina Sergeeva was removed from the owners of Algiz only in July 2022, six months after the Russian invasion.

Until 2016, Svetlana Sidoruk was also a co-founder of Algiz, who then headed the department for accounting for indirect taxes, fees and resource payments of Energoatom. Her husband Sergey Sidoruk was the director of control and audit work at Energoatom.

According to Prozorro, the Algiz Analytical Center in the previous four years received four small contracts from the head office of Energoatom and the South Ukrainian NPP for a total of UAH 1 million. The new contract of Rivne NPP became the largest in this period. However, the company worked as a subcontractor to the Energorisk company, which received large contracts from Energoatom.
In turn, Energorisk was a competitor of Algiz in the last tender of the RNPP. There were three participants in total, in addition to these two firms, there was also the state-owned Kyiv Institute Energoproekt. None of the competitors reduced their starting offer at the auction. Consequently, Algiz took the contract at a price of almost UAH 11 million, making a discount of only 0.4% from the expected price.
The purchase was made after the dismissal of Pavel Pavlyshyn from the post of head of the RNPP. He was fired by the decision of the head of Energoatom, Petr Kotin, with the support of Energy Minister German Galushchenko. Pavel Ivanovich Kovtonyuk, who worked as the chief engineer of the RNPP for many years, was appointed the new leader.
