The court allowed a special investigation into the thief in law of Nedelya
The Pechersky District Court of Kyiv allowed a special pre-trial investigation (in absentia) against a 49-year-old native Sambirsky district Andrey Nedzelsky, who is known in the status of the so-called “thief in law” nicknamed “Andrey Lvovsky”/”Nedelya”. The corresponding decision was made on November 18, 2022 by the minister of Themis Svetlana Volkova, writes Detective-Info.
Earlier, on the pages of Detective-Info, it was reported that with the appropriate intentions to organize a trial in absentia of the case on the charges of the criminal general, the security forces came out even on the eve of the start of a large-scale military invasion of the Russian army. At the end of November of this year, law enforcement officers updated this issue and, on the second attempt, received permission to conduct a special pre-trial investigation.
Recall that Nedelya is accused of committing in the fall of 2009 in the center of Kyiv the murder of crime boss Alexander Semyonov, nicknamed “Katsap” (clauses 6, 12, part 2, article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), as well as illegal circulation of weapons (part 2 of Art. 1 article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and the use of forged documents (part 4 of article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). At the official level, Nedzelsky has been on the international wanted list since March 2020.
