No votes: will Tishchenko be expelled from Servant of the People? Nikolay Tishchenko Servant of the people party faction

Will Tishchenko be expelled from Servant of the People if there are no votes?

The Servant of the People party is unable to gather the necessary votes to expel MP Nikolai Tishchenko from their group. He got into trouble for his trip to Thailand during the war, as reported by UP.

A source: a person in Ukrainska Pravda talking to the Servant of the People faction

Direct speech: The SN faction does not have enough votes to expel someone.

Details: According to a source, the faction is struggling to even get votes to remove Tishchenko from his position as deputy chairman of the Rada Committee on Transport and Infrastructure.

    What came before:

    • In the 11th month of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Nikolay Tishchenko, a People's Deputy of the Servant of the People, planned a meeting with the Ukrainian community in Thailand.
    • After this news caused public outrage, Tishchenko was kicked out of the Servant of the People party, removed as deputy head of the faction, and announced his expulsion from the faction.
    • The Servant of the People faction launched an online survey asking whether Nikolai Tishchenko should be expelled from the faction.

And here are the sourcesCountry"In the Servant of the People faction, they say there are votes to exclude Nikolai Tishchenko from the faction after his trip to Thailand."

"The voices will be clear. This is the position of the President's Office – to expel Tishchenko. And he has no support in the faction. And he will be expelled from the faction, and removed from the post of deputy head of the faction. The meeting of the faction will be held in the near future,” a source in the Servant of the People said.– says a source in the Servant of the People.

As for the removal of Tishchenko from the post of deputy head of the Committee on Transport and Infrastructure, this decision must be made by a majority vote of the Rada.

Vladimir Kreydenko, a deputy head of the Committee from the Servant of the People, stated that first, a resolution for the removal of Tishchenko from the post of deputy head of the committee should be registered in the Rada.

"According to the procedure, it is necessary to register a resolution, submit it under the dome, and if there are 226 votes, you can change the positions of deputies in committees," Kreydenko explained.

He also said that he supported the decision to expel Tishchenko from the faction.

“I supported the decision to expel Tishchenko from the party and backed David Arakhamia's decision regarding the exclusion of Nikolai Tishchenko from the faction and from the post of deputy head of the faction" – said the deputy.

Recall: From the beginning of his political career, Nikolai Tishchenko regularly got into scandals. The deputy held noisy parties during the coronavirus quarantine, and his Velor restaurant, unlike other establishments, continued to work during the lockdown.

Tishchenko helped sabotage the elections in the 87th constituency in the Ivano-Frankivsk region (the candidate from the ruling party Vasily Virastyuk won there), and in the capital – adjust “dialogue” between Bankova and Denis Komarnitsky.
