In the colony died convicted of a fire in the Kazan shopping center “Admiral”
In Tatarstan, a former deputy director of the tenant company Gulhuseyn Najafov, convicted in the case of a fire with 19 dead in the Admiral shopping center in 2015, died in a colony.

According to the agency, the convict’s preliminary cause of death was health problems. No signs of violent death were found. The deceased prisoner was serving his sentence in one of the colonies on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The fire in the Kazan shopping center “Admiral” occurred on March 11, 2015, the fire area was 4000 square meters, the total area of the collapse of the shopping center building was 12 thousand square meters. 19 people died, more than 60 were injured.
According to the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR), the cause of the fire was that “the building, not intended for use as a shopping center, was operated for a long time without an appropriate permit, with gross violations of fire safety requirements.”
