On the night of Saturday to Sunday, February 13, Canadian director and producer Ivan Reitman, who filmed Ghostbusters, died in California.

Reitman was 75 years old. He died at night in his house. The cause of death was not specified.
Ivan Reitman was born in 1946 in Czechoslovakia. His father owned the largest vinegar factory in the country. When Reitman was four years old, his family fled the country and after some time settled in Toronto.
