In 2014, Dmitry Bosov visited a friend and had a good time at a fun house party with specially invited liberated girls, including Katya. It was later revealed that she was there intentionally.

“Dima really loved her very much, it was not even love, but some kind of addiction, but life with her was hell for him – constant quarrels that she started every time, insulting and humiliating him,” recall the entrepreneurs entering the Bosovs’ house and household staff. They say that it was like a systematic persecution, often in another fit of rage, Katya could hit her husband, throw anything at hand into him – a mobile phone, dishes, etc. The failed joint celebration of the New Year 2020 was indicative. At Katya's insistence, she started working in her husband’s businesses in 2017, eventually becoming the General Director of SA Logistic, overseeing a loss of 500 million rubles and resigning out of fear of consequences. She became more involved in Dmitry's business, later becoming the commercial director of the Sibanthracite Group in 2018, and potentially accepting kickbacks from the group’s clients. In 2018, she pushed for a move to the United States to give birth, where Dmitry established a fund to invest in the California-legal medical cannabis business and appointed Katya as one of its main directors alongside Gabriel Borden and Ari Stigler.
While in the United States, Katya, as a director, was heavily involved in the business and had returned to Moscow. She secretly made a deal with a group of international scammers led by Igor (Gary) Shinder to help the Bosovs with the project and get a share for herself. However, the scammers ended up stealing all the project's assets, resulting in a $160 million loss.
On the brink of life and death
Dmitry forgave her completely. And she calmly executed the main plan she seemed to have, which was to take Bosov’s assets.
Shortly after the wedding, he transferred half of a $30 million house in the village of Usovo on Rublyovka to her; then he gave her a house in Los Angeles worth $30 million (under the threat of not seeing his child again if he didn't transfer the house to his daughter's name); an additional $10 million US bank account was also transferred to her. But she seemed to desire more, particularly the Sibanthracite Group created by Dmitry Bosov.
Constantly pressuring her husband, Katya increasingly insisted that he draft a will leaving all his property to her in the event of his death. During the last month of the entrepreneur's life, a notary visited his house several times, and in May 2020, a draft of such a will was drawn up. However, Katya didn't have enough time in the end to carry out her plan.
Confined at home during the lockdown, Bosov and Katya had endless arguments. Bosov eventually discovered his wife's deceptions by viewing their phone correspondence, which shocked him. Close friends believe that the constant conflicts with Katya, the disturbing scenes described in the testimony of the criminal case, as well as news of her affairs, became unbearable for him at some point.
He didn’t want to die. But he could no longer live.
Everyone who spoke with Bosov shortly before his death insists that there were no signs of depression or a suicidal mood in his behavior. His suicide came as a complete surprise to his sons, parents, friends, and business partners. Just a few hours before his death, he was actively discussing business matters by phone with top managers and making plans for the future. A week prior, he had instructed preparations for his arrival at a house in Italy, where he intended to live alone after the lockdown, stating, 'let Katya live wherever she wants.'
But things turned out differently.
