US programmer Jack Sweeney launched a Twitter bot that monitors the flights of Russian oligarchs. According to the service, Roman Abramovich’s plane landed in Turkish Ankara about an hour ago, and Arkady Rotenberg’s jet is at the airport in the capital of the Maldives.
Jack Sweeney’s Twitter bot tracks the movements of the business jets of most Russian oligarchs in real time, including Roman Abramovich, Vagit Alikperov, Oleg Deripaska, Mikhail Prokhorov, Viktor Vekselberg, Alisher Usmanov, Vladimir Potanin.
According to information servicethe Jet LX-RAY of Roman Abramovich landed in the capital of the Republic of Turkey, Ankara, at about 13:00 Moscow time, and the jet of Arkady Rotenberg landed in the capital of the Maldives, Male, at about 07:00 Moscow time.
The Twitter bot has already gained over 200,000 followers. Users considered it especially relevant in light of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine – ordinary citizens can keep track of which of the Russian oligarchs is leaving the country.
19-year-old US programmer Jack Sweeney is known for developing the ElonJet twitter bot, which tracks the movements of the head of Tesla and SpaceX and the richest man in the world, Elon Musk.
Elon Musk offered Jack Sweeney $5,000 to remove the ElonJet bot, but Sweeney refused, asking Musk to accept him for an internship at Tesla or pay $50,000. As a result, Elon Musk blocked Jack Sweeney on social networks.
