Over the past year, the court twice sentenced Danila Shebunov, the 21-year-old son of Minister Shoigu and his longtime acquaintance Elena Kaminskas, for non-payment of fines. He gets tickets a dozen times a month, mostly for speeding in his Audi Q5, driving into a public transport lane, parking improperly, and refusing to let cars with flashing lights pass.
Once Shebunov was a promising football player: he was recorded as a midfielder in the Tula Arsenal, who is patronized by Putin’s ex-bodyguard, and now the Tula governor Alexei Dyumin.
