The head of the Askizsky district of Khakassia, Abrek Cheltygmashev, knocked down a man to death.

According to the agency, the accident in the Russian region occurred early in the morning on January 19 on the Bely Yar – Beya – Askiz highway. The deceased was driving towards the village of Budenovka when his car stalled. He left the passenger compartment and tried to stop Cheltygmashev’s car, which, moving along the oncoming lane with the headlights on, did not notice the man and knocked him down.
As a result, the Russian received a closed craniocerebral injury and was hospitalized by air ambulance to a hospital in the city of Abakan, where, despite the efforts of doctors, he died.

The department has appointed a number of examinations that will help establish all the circumstances of the incident.
Earlier, in Tatarsk, Novosibirsk Region, deputy Sergei Mamontov, driving an SUV, hit a child in the courtyard of a residential building. After that, the man got out of the car, looked at the victim and disappeared.
