The Federation Council assessed the results of the presidential elections in the Czech Republic
Vice Speaker of the Federation Council of Russia Konstantin Kosachev assessed the results of the presidential elections in the Czech Republic.
His words are reported by RIA Novosti
As Kosachev recalled, the powers of the President of the Czech Republic are seriously limited by the constitution, which was evident from the example of the previous head of state, Milos Zeman. “So there will definitely be no change for the better in terms of returning the Czech Republic to a constructive position, and verbal rhetoric is likely to change only for the worse,” he said, noting that at the moment the Czech Republic is one of the most unfriendly towards to Russia European countries.
