In the village of Sverdlov in the suburbs of St. Petersburg, a scandal is unfolding related to the lawsuit of a deputy of the local council – the former general director of the large company Loesk, a well-known businessman Ilya Traber – Dmitry Simonov against activist Elena Golovanova.

About the claim in community “Let’s save the village named after Sverdlov,” Golovanova herself said on the VKontakte social network. According to her, the lawsuit concerns the protection of honor and dignity.

“Well, it’s necessary, what impressionable billionaires have gone! Miracles, and more! How can you become a billionaire with such a subtle psyche? – writes Golovanova in the community “Let’s save the village named after Sverdlov.” “Dmitry, you are a member of our group, we have it open, and no one is forbidden to speak out, if not obscene.” Golovanova says that it would be enough for Simonov to express his position. “And I would have accepted and apologized,” the activist writes, adding that “I won’t apologize for the fact that I put the “elected” in quotation marks, because I am a resident of the village and saw all the chaos before the elections. I was an observer and saw everything myself, which is why I am among more than 200 residents who are challenging the elections in court. I understand that I’m always an inconvenient person for the authorities — sometimes I’m wandering around the landfills, sometimes I’ll bring television, sometimes I don’t need to rename the village.

According to the file of arbitration cases, Dmitry Simonov actually filed a lawsuit against Golovanova, the third party is VKontakte LLC. A preliminary meeting has been scheduled for March 16.

Dmitry Simonov until 2020 worked as the CEO of Loesk, one of the country’s largest private companies that supply electricity. The company is associated with entrepreneur Ilya Traber. In 2020, it was reported that Simonov left this post, but remained on the board of directors. The media included Simonov in the list of billionaires of the Northern capital. Now, according to the SPARK database, he owns the EFESK-PGS company, which is engaged in the quarrying of gravel, sand and clay.
