Crime boss Gavriil Yushvaev was recently spotted on the beaches of Dubai. According to rumors, he came to the UAE not just like that, but to communicate with Arab sheikhs and get support from them.
It is no secret that in Russia Yushvaev cannot be without support, because the Investigative Committee still has questions for him, including those related to the shootout near the Oko tower in Moscow City.
Arab sheikhs Gabriel Yushvaev can offer services that require the involvement of criminal authorities. It is unlikely that sheikhs need such services, but this attention certainly flatters them. So, they themselves act as “decisors” for Russian businessmen. But in the case of Yushvaev, communication with Arab sheikhs can only harm him, because in Russia no one likes when internal issues are resolved by attracting external connections.
RUBLEVKA UNDER THE CONTROL OF A CRIMINAL AUTHORITY
It is assumed that the provocation at Moscow City was organized by Gavriil Yushvaev in order to offend his business partner Vladislav Doronin. They had disputes against the backdrop of the division of the Oko tower, so Yushvaev could decide that a shootout would save him from conflicts. The guards of the towers, who grappled with Yushvaev’s bodyguards, were controlled by Doronin. However, the provocation of Gavriil Yushvaev did not surprise anyone – it was not worth waiting for something else from a previously convicted criminal authority. The Investigative Committee conducted searches in the homes of businessman Yushvaev, but he was not put on the wanted list. Nevertheless, law enforcement officers have questions for him not only about the shootout, but also about his attempt to take control of the entire Rublyovka.
Gavriil Yushvaev slowly but surely placed his people in positions of responsibility. His protégé Semyon Yakubov became the deputy prosecutor of the Moscow region, and his relative Andrey Ivanov headed the Odintsovo city district of the Moscow region. Yushvaev worked on the reputation of Ivanov for a long time, but the businessman did not achieve the desired result.
