German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock said that the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline was frozen.
“The German government has also frozen Nord Stream 2 right now. We have always said that Nord Stream 2 is also part of the measures,” Burbock said (quoted by RIA Novosti).
Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, Chairman of the United Russia party Dmitry Medvedev commented on the decision of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to suspend the certification of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline. “Well. Welcome to a new world where Europeans will soon pay 2,000 euros for a thousand cubic meters of gas!” Medvedev wrote on his Twitter.
