Employees of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs blocked the channel for the supply of heroin to four regions of Russia, as a result of a special operation of the security forces, 19 people were detained, and 50 criminal cases were initiated.
This was announced by Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, reports RIA Novosti.
According to him, narcotics worth 185 million rubles were seized, which is the largest consignment of heroin intercepted by law enforcement officers in recent times.
The channel for the supply of heroin from Central Asia to the Moscow Region, the Krasnodar Territory, the Saratov and Chelyabinsk Regions has been cut off. Among the detainees are the organizers of the inter-ethnic criminal drug community. Law enforcement officers went on their trail at the beginning of 2021. Last spring, drug couriers and pawnbrokers were detained in the Krasnodar Territory. To transport heroin, they used a taxi, in which the cache was arranged in a gas tank. Later, the security forces established the location of drug warehouses located in Moscow.
