Roskomnadzor demanded that Google LLC immediately restrict access to materials about “numerous casualties among Russian military personnel and the civilian population of Ukraine during a military special operation.”

Roskomnadzor warned that owners of Russian websites and advertising networks could face fines of up to 5 million rubles for distributing contextual advertising with inaccurate socially significant information (under Article 13.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation).
Moreover, the department will block such sites at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office, and transfer materials on them to the Investigative Committee of Russia so that the owners of the resources are brought to justice.
