Russian President Vladimir Putin’s phrase “like it, don’t like it, be patient, my beauty,” which was spoken during talks with French President Emmanuel Macron in Moscow about Kiev’s implementation of the Minsk agreements, was difficult to translate into French.
This was stated by the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov, he is quoted by RIA Novosti.
According to the Kremlin representative, in this way the president, who turned to the Ukrainian authorities, meant that if the state has assumed obligations, then they must be fulfilled.
“I bet it was very hard to translate into French. The President meant that if the state has assumed obligations and if there is a signature of the head of state, then these obligations must be fulfilled, ”Peskov explained.
