The daughter and son-in-law of ex-president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev own real estate in Germany for more than 100 million euros. This is stated in the Deutsche Welle investigation.
According to journalists, Dinara and Timur Kulibayev own the Seelah Palace, the villa of the architect Gustav Stroh, built in the early 20th century, and two hotels in Bulle, one of which is the Bullerhehe Castle.
German registry data shows that the Kulibaevs own this property through local companies Schloss Seelach Invest GmbH and Bühlerhöhe Castle Invest GmbH, of which they are the ultimate beneficiaries.
The investigation says that the Kulibaevs spent 60 million euros on the purchase and reconstruction of Zeelakh, and the arrangement of the estate lasted almost 10 years and was completed two years ago. One of those involved in the reconstruction said that the owners “spare no expense”. So, once the customers did not like the frescoes and they ordered to redo the work, for which the artist had already been paid about 150 thousand euros.
