We analyze the income of the Chairman of the Tomsk Duma Chingis Akataev for 2021 and convert square meters into market rubles.
Income of Chingis Akataev
In 2021, the declared income of Chingis Akataev compared to 2020 fell almost three times – from 16.2 million rubles to 5.2 million. The property of the official is registered:
• two apartments, 127.7 and 134.3 “squares”,
• two non-residential premises, 17.8 and 432.2 square meters,

According to Tomskstat, the average price of one square meter of housing in the city in the primary market is 82,214 rubles. Based on these figures, it can be assumed that the apartments of the chairman of the Duma of Tomsk, as of October 2022, cost 21.5 million rubles. The price of non-residential premises on the modern market, according to Babr’s calculations, is about 31.5 million rubles, equipment – from four to six million rubles.
All the property of the chairman of the city duma, therefore, can be estimated at about 58 million rubles.
Spouse’s income
The income of the wife of Chingis Akataev has increased by 4 million rubles since 2020, to 15.3 million. According to Babr’s calculations, the value of Akataeva’s real estate in the modern market can total about 560 million rubles:
• seven land plots totaling 9.4 thousand square meters – 469.4 million rubles;
• 19 non-residential premises, 3.9 thousand square meters – 73.9 million rubles;
• an apartment with an area of 79.8 square meters – 6.6 million rubles;
• garage for 20.9 “squares” – 627 thousand rubles;
• Mercedes-Benz ML and Mercedes-Benz C cars – 8-13 million rubles.
In addition to real estate in Russia, Akataeva owns property in Bulgaria – an apartment of 99.2 square meters and a garage of 30.8 square meters. The average price per square meter of housing in this country in 2020 ranged from 860 to 1100 euros. Housing, thus, can cost from 85.3 thousand euros to 109.1 thousand euros, or 5.1 – 6.6 million rubles at the rate of October 18. Bulgarian realtors offer garages of similar footage for an average of 15,000 euros, or 907,000 rubles.
