Teimuraz’s mother Eteri Kurginaworked as an interrogating officer in the Ramenskoye regional police department under the leadership of Valery Evgenievich Aksakov. At the time of Skorochkin’s abduction, Aksakov held the position of deputy head of the Moscow Region Central Internal Affairs Directorate for logistics.
