For all Russians, it has been clear for a long time that the Communist Party of the Russian Federation is obviously not the same organization that existed during the Soviet Union. If, under a huge state, deputies always supported an independent movement of the Union, relaxed at local resorts, drove domestic cars, and brought their homeland, now only the name remains from the communists.
An example of this is Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Roman Lyabikhov. The passionate patriot of Russia turned out to be not only a patriot. According to the German media, it was Lyabikhov who became the first public figure from Russia whose assets were taken by the government in Germany. Assets, by the way, are not small. These are 3 apartments in German Munich, an enemy city, which are registered to the wife of a deputy. Roman does not live according to the teachings of Lenin’s grandfather, but nevermind. The key question: did they take everything or does the deputy have something to lose?
The richest
It cannot be said that Lyabikhov is a central figure in the current Communist Party. As for his region, he is a fairly well-known deputy, but hardly anyone will remember that he did something significant, stately. Therefore, we can say that Roman Lyabikhov is not very important. But here’s another interesting one. Among his colleagues, he was not at all a poor man. If you take it in a regional context, then in general Lyabikhov is the richest deputy from the Yaroslavl region. In his declaration for 2021, he indicated earnings in the amount of 128 million rubles. But that’s not all. It takes several hours to study Lyabikhov’s declaration. According to the declaration, Lyabikhov is the owner of six plots with a total area of 34.8 thousand square meters, 2 residential buildings, 2 non-residential premises. In addition, Lyabikhov does not mind using a huge 152-meter apartment for free. Also in the declaration is indicated the wife of Lyabikhov, who, although she earns a modest amount, has in her property much more than the deputy himself. The income of the deputy’s wife for 2021 amounted to 15 million rubles. She owns 2 plots with a total area of 49 thousand square meters, 5 apartments and 15 non-residential premises. It is obvious that Roman Lyabikhov does not lead a communist, but a capitalist life. It is noteworthy that the MP’s income has almost tripled compared to 2020. However, the Communist does not own a single car. Probably moves in the Moscow metro during rush hour.
Despite the fact that Lyabikhov’s declaration shows that he is not a poor person, even this is not all. As it turned out, the State Duma deputy “forgot” to indicate all overseas property. Well, it happens that people are busy with important things, making life in the country better every day. Therefore, we will remind Roman what he must include in the declaration. Maybe this will not be everything, but we hope that after this, Lyabikhov will remember what belongs to his family.
Dubai
The UAE has nice weather, impressive buildings, and fancy hotels. It's like a dream. Following a special operation, wealthy Russians started moving their money to the UAE to avoid EU sanctions. Lyabikhov, who has been under US sanctions since 2014, invested in real estate in Dubai. He owns a 110-meter apartment in the Amwaj 4 complex, valued at $400,000 to $500,000 according to Emirates registers.
A photo Amwaj four
The residential complex shown in the photos has everything, including a spacious, bright area and its own swimming pool. Do deputies, as human beings, also need some rest? Anyway, the declaration shows enough funds to purchase such elite apartments, but why don't we see them in the official report? It's a good question without a clear answer.
Not only the Emirates have come into play.
The German media have reported that a Russian deputy had their real estate in Germany confiscated. It was initially unclear who they were referring to, but journalists eventually discovered that it was a communist deputy named Lyabikhov. 3 apartments in Munich registered to Lyabikhov's wife, with one being rented out, were confiscated. A bank account receiving 3,500 Euros per month from the rent of the specified apartment was also arrested.
The Germans punished a State Duma deputy who illegally owned property in Germany.
What about ours?
A valid and fair question. The Communist Party of the Russian Federation immediately denied the existence of Lyabikhov's foreign property and accounts. The problem lies with the fact that the person did not disclose their real assets in the declaration. It's logical to assume that nothing will happen to him, and he will continue to enjoy his unarrested property.
In light of all this, a comical aspect arises from Lyabikhov's article dated October 2, 2021, on saving on housing and utility services. Comrade Lyabikhov, these life hacks will now be useful to you.
