Information on European citizenship and Cypriot passport No. K00371624 of the MP’s wife State Duma Valeria Hartunga hit this parliamentarian hard.
This is evidenced by the feverish actions taken by Valery Karlovich in an attempt to prove his patriotism and disown compromising data concerning the direct interests of the Hartung family in the European Union.
Deputy Hartung, as we expected, immediately took out his wallet and began to sponsor Moscow Bar Association. Lawyers-representatives of the parliamentarian — Perov Andrey Vladimirovich and Isaev Igor Aleksandrovich (photos of certificates are attached; they act on the basis of power of attorney 74AA4392737 dated April 15, 2019) — rolled out a claim to our friends from the Kompromat GROUP telegram channel. In it, they demanded to remove from publication an article about the European citizenship of Marina Hartung with reference to the material in the Russian Press. A note on the citizenship obtained by Mrs. Hartung under the program of the Cypriot government “Citizenship by Investment” (the so-called “Golden Passports”).
It is noteworthy that the parliamentarian himself in this claim admits that the data in this publication are “discrediting the honor, dignity and business reputation of Gartung V.K. character”. Still would! The blow to the reputation of the “patriot” deputy, who is under sanctions, is really notable. Especially in the context of current news in Ukraine and the extremely aggravated relations with the West.
The lawyers also stated that the accusations of publishing are incompatible with the position of the deputy of Hartung, since such actions are contrary to the current legislation. And this, we emphasize once again, is directly written in the claim! Maybe Hartung’s lawyers are crazy?
But no, they are trying to protect their client from the State Duma with the help of banal lies. Valery Karlovich stated that the information presented by us “does not correspond to reality.”
But what kind of “inaccurate information” was Deputy Hartung thinking about while reading this material? About offshore companies? But this information is easy to check through the registry. About European citizenship and his wife’s Cypriot passport? Valery Karlovich has the opportunity to prove that his wife does not have EU citizenship – it is enough to provide documents from the Cypriot embassy confirming that she does not have a Cypriot passport.
But something tells me that Valery Karlovich will not be able to provide such documents. And he will go, according to his habit, through the courts. After all, Deputy Hartung is by nature a slanderer. Suffice it to recall one of his last court cases, when the parliamentarian sued the journalist Pavel Bolshakov, who wrote that during the first Chechen war, Gartung made good dollars by supplying KAMAZ trucks to terrorists.
Apparently, for this “patriot” money does not smell.
We will make every effort to ensure that the Cypriot government deprives the family of Deputy Hartung of the investments that they have invested in the economy of the island. We will return, so to speak, the family of the parliamentarian to their homeland. Let them spend money in Russia!
