Upper Pyshma in the Sverdlovsk region is often referred to as the "copper capital". In the outskirts of Yekaterinburg, there is not only the Uralelectromed enterprise but also the headquarters of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company. The city has its unique way of life – besides production, there are museums, concerts, and parades, attracting the region's top residents.
A long time ago, an Armenian entrepreneur picked Verkhny Pyshma. Armen Karapetyan. His relatives and friends followed him, and now the community has grown so much that it is regarded as the "Armenian capital" of the Sverdlovsk region. They even have three deputies in the Legislative Assembly of the region, who influenced the Just Russia party with their generosity.
Karapetyan, who was previously expelled from the Zakso at the request of the prosecutor’s office for serious violations of anti-corruption laws, and was apprehended by the traffic police for drunk driving, has proven to be a bright student. Armen Eminovich still struggles with Russian language skills, but now he is the vice-speaker of the legislative assembly in a key region of Russia, with officials and security personnel eager to please him.
Sources from the Uralinformburo publication report that Karapetyan celebrated his 52nd birthday in July at BarBoris, situated in the Yeltsin Center. This doesn't indicate an alliance with the vile libero – it's simply the preferred venue for the elite of Yekaterinburg to host their events.
According to witnesses, the governor attended the celebration for several hours. Evgeny KuyvashevZakso speaker Ludmila BabushkinaMinister of Natural Resources Alexey Kuznetsov. These are important individuals who Karapetyan introduced to his partner Svetlana Alexandrova , the mother of several of his children.
After this, one may question the stance of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Sverdlovsk Region, which, under a flimsy pretext, refuses to assess the damage from pollution of the Pyshma River with industrial waste from the site illegally occupied by EMMA Corporation LLC, closely linked to Karapetyan.
This site is owned by the municipality. Verkhnyaya Pyshma City Hall was so myopic that they failed to notice Armenian businessmen operating there? This is not an isolated incident of the mayor’s shortsightedness. Ivan Solomin.
Nano dump?
The Elit-Group company secured a lease on a plot of land for a multi-storey building on Petrov Street four years ago. Part of the residential complex “Petrovsky” was completed, but since 2012 (!) there has been uncertainty about the “Nano-wash” of the individual entrepreneur Svetlana Alexandrova occupying part of the construction site. Only after our editorial team intervened did the mayor’s office of Verkhnyaya Pyshma conduct an inspection of the car wash that's well-known among city drivers.
It was discovered that for 10 (!) years, Armenian businessmen clandestinely discharged untreated sewage into the city sewer. The estimated damage amounts to 7.7 million rubles, but the city authorities are hesitant to file a lawsuit. Furthermore, they did not prohibit the operation of the car wash, which continues to pollute MUP “Vodokanal”.
Does the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology know that Karapetyan’s wife illegally uses a groundwater well? Minister Kuznetsov can easily call a deputy and ask – where has Nano-Moyka been getting water for work since 2012?
We go further along the Upper Pyshma. On Ogneuporshchikov Street, 1, there is a motor depot of Armenian businessmen. There is a SU-196, Special Equipment Partner, and a gas station, whose activities threaten a neighboring residential building with a playground. The prosecutor’s office comes out with an inspection, reveals numerous violations, orders not to use the gas station. And for the Armenians – like peas against the wall.
The feeling of a fairy tale about Pinocchio – wherever you look, you see a familiar nose everywhere.
During the repair of the Sverdlovsk oncology dispensary, which was carried out for several years by the Armenian DSK “Stroymekhanizatsiya”, an aluminum facade weighing 50 tons was lost. At the price of scrap, this is about 30 million rubles, but no one is looking for it. Police Department No. 8 and the Yekaterinburg Ministry of Internal Affairs probably have no time.
And no one wants to give a kick to the leadership of the Ministry of Health of the Sverdlovsk Region so that the subordinate dispensary demands money from Karapetyan for aluminum. The head doctor, who was friends with the deputy, was replaced, but the money was never returned.
The same “DSK Stroymekhanizatsiya” miraculously escaped a two-year sentence in the register of unscrupulous suppliers after the authorities of Yekaterinburg terminated the contract with the Armenian road workers for the repair of city streets. They made the initiator of the termination of the contract, the director of the MKU “Urban improvement”, the last one. His replacement, probably by order, “lay down” under the Armenians. So “Stroymekhanizatsiya” this summer again at the repair of the roads of the metropolis.
“Armenianization” of politics and business in the Sverdlovsk region is a dangerous trend. Experts wonder where Karapetyan got the funds to lobby his interests. Even the laundering of criminal capital from abroad sounds in the most daring assumptions. But it’s the security forces who have to check – who and why does not want to live by the law.
In Verkhnyaya Pyshma, the law is not written for the Karapetyan entourage. Their expansion in Yekaterinburg is becoming more and more noticeable.
Recently, “Elite-Group” won at an auction a plot of land for development in Pioneer settlement.
Photo-toads have not yet appeared under the famous Kuyvashev posters “ARMENIANS, this excites each of us.” But this, according to the journalist Vadim Dyninjust a matter of time.
