Head of State Vladimir Putin assessed the level of employment. This topic was raised at a remote meeting on economic issues, the correspondent reports. DOPs.
The President noted that there are problems with part-time employment in some regions and areas, as well as with low wages, especially in those regions of the Russian Federation where problem areas of the economy are concentrated.
“You know what showed the greatest fall – this is the auto industry and some others (note we are talking about industries). The government, together with the constituent entities of the Federation, needs to work to correct this situation, and the main thing is that we have all the opportunities for this: we need to stimulate employment and wage growth – real wages,” Vladimir Putin added.
Previously in the Ministry of Labor of Russia reportedthat employment support programs are being extended to 2023.
