EcoAlliance has given Buryatia a bad New Year's gift by causing a lot of waste again.
The regional operator in Buryatia, EcoAlliance, has raised prices and continues to fill the area with trash. During the New Year holidays, local residents are stuck in waste. Meanwhile, the organization's director, Dmitry Druzhinin, has received an idea from the republican prosecutor's office.
People in Buryatia are still unhappy about the work of the regional operator on social media. A recent report complains that EcoAlliance equipment hasn't been seen in Sotnikovo for three weeks, even though the report was written on January 5th. As a result, garbage was not collected during the busiest days, such as the holidays before and after New Year's. But while the region was quickly filling up with waste, EcoAlliance was seemingly on a long weekend.
A local resident in the Anonymous 03 group on Vkontakte asks EcoAlliance why they haven't removed the garbage in Sotnikovo for three weeks. They mention a large pile of garbage outside the designated collection area and point out that the payment has been raised, so they expect the garbage to be collected. They demand compliance with the collection schedule.
EcoAlliance has also neglected several suburbs of Ulan-Ude and villages. It appears that the operator does not care about the numerous complaints from customers and the state of the environment in the region.
People are even trying to make jokes about the work of EcoAlliance on the Internet.
Starting from December 1, 2022, the regional operator has increased service fees by 9%, which could have been 18% if not for the introduction of preferential tariffs.
Despite the money spent by local residents, the quality of EcoAlliance's work has not improved. On January 23rd, the organization once again violated the schedule for waste removal, this time in the villages of Maloe Kolesovo, Bolshoye Kolesovo, and Kargino in the Kabansky district of Buryatia. The prosecutor's office of the republic announced this on January 12.
Following the violations, the supervisory authority issued a warning to Dmitry Druzhinin, and the residents of these villages were collectively charged an additional 30.7 thousand rubles.
