Where officials, billionaires, "stars" and "authorities" reside in the northern capital
The primary residences of St. Petersburg. On the first day of March, Rosreestr ceased publishing information about property owners in the Unified State Register. This should make it harder to monitor the wealth of those commonly referred to as tops and VIPs. Still, housing is a clear indicator of success in life. Finally, 47news examined the owners of St. Petersburg's elite properties, leading to a discussion about them.
So, house number 4 on Italianskaya Street has witnessed many things, as it houses the legendary Stray Dog in its basement, and the neighboring courtyard is home to the Mikhailovsky Theater. Recently, attention has been drawn to this building due to the lawsuit involving the flooding of Anastasia Volochkova and the local HOA. Where there is a famous ballerina, there is always a flurry of news, which means that even a significant communal emergency topic will not diminish the interest in her.
Focusing on the flooding dispute involving the star, the defendant in the lawsuit is not only the partnership, but also Kirill Viktorovich Krutikov. Primarily, this name is linked to the federal developer GK “FSK”. According to Rosreestr, Krutikov is on the fifth floor, while Anastasia Yuryevna is on the fourth and third. However, according to the January reports from the Dzerzhinsky court, Volochkova stated that the apartment in the house on Italianskaya is precious to her as a museum exhibit, as she has not lived in it for a long time.
Previously, the owner of two apartments in this building was Alexander Nesis, a billionaire from Forbes, known for the ICT investment group. Today, the name Nesis is still among the owners of square meters in a prestigious house, but these are women – Maryana and Yulia.

For a long time, Italianskaya, 4, was the official address of the Baltic Construction Company (BCC) of the reputable businessman Gennady Petrov. Therefore, it is not surprising that one of the apartments here belongs to Anton Petrov. The name of Petrov Jr. is associated with the development of the 585*Zolotoy jewelry chain.
Anton Petrov
Here, you can also find relatives of the late Yeltsin Minister of Railways Nikolai Aksenenko, as well as Sergei Amelin, who died unexpectedly ten years ago, and who controlled the construction empire Stroyimpulse.
The residential complex “The Fifth Element” on Krestovsky Island has been part of the history of elite real estate in St. Petersburg for twenty years. It is situated on the territory of the Primorsky Victory Park, near the South Pond, on the former site of the Vostok restaurant. However, despite being advertised on prestigious real estate websites as “the most comfortable living spaces”, according to the legally verified letter of Rosreestr, there are no apartments, only premises with abbreviations like “pom L6-N” or “pom 17-N”.
However, the spaces in The Fifth Element are very spacious and are owned by well-known individuals, not just in St. Petersburg. For instance, Sadigov Famil Kamil oglu, who has been overseeing financial and economic issues of PJSC Gazprom since 2019.
Another owner of property in a prestigious hotel is Khachaturova Vasilisa Danilovna, who is the daughter of ex-president of Rosgosstrakh Danila Khachaturov and fashion designer Ulyana Sergeenko. Also nearby is Tatyana Naginskaya, the construction holding “Titan-2”, and Dmitry Stolov, known for advertising in the St. Petersburg subway.
Ulyana Sergeenko and Danila Khachaturov
The Fifth Element is a project of developer Artur Kirilenko and Sergey Polonsky. The corporation went bankrupt during the crisis of 2008-2009. Polonsky is currently in Dubai, and his ex-partner Artur Kirilenko still owns several rooms near the South Pond in Petersburg.
For example, a prestigious four-story building on the embankment of the Fontanka River, 1, is owned by Nikolai Dobrinov, vice president of the East groups Alexander Nesis, the wife of the ex-chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation Tamara Stepashina, and others.
Maxim Sokolov
The “House on the Fontanka” near the Engineering Castle is the flagship project of “Corporation C”. The names associated with this project include Maxim Sokolov, Vasily Sopromadze, and Nikolai Sergeenko. Now, Maxim Sokolov's wife Anzhelika Ryskova is the sole owner of an apartment in the building.
Birch alley, 19. Wow! There are dubious people growing the most powerful citadel of St. Petersburg.
The most powerful residential complex in St. Petersburg is the “Birch Alley, 19” on Kamenny Island. The property is owned by influential individuals such as Arkady Rotenberg, Gennady Timchenko, and others. However, one of the apartments on Berezovaya 19 is currently under arrest since February 24th.
On this date, the Moscow FSB visited a three-story apartment No. 12 in a complex for a thorough search due to the involvement of the new tenant Dmitry Sokolov in the WEX crypto exchange case. The owner of the 479 square meters apartment became a witness briefly after the incident and then disappeared. Dmitry, whose recent drama we reported on, cannot be found.
The St. Petersburg real estate agency Engel & Volkers lists the property at 2nd Birch Alley, 19, featuring 4 bedrooms within a 420 square meter residence. This listing, associated with Sergey Kolesnikov, has been available for three years. Kolesnikov, an emigrant entrepreneur, gained attention in 2010 for mentioning a construction site in an open letter to President Medvedev. He also owns two townhouse apartments in a well-known building.
About a year ago, an advertisement for renting a four-story apartment with a 447 square meter area caught the attention of journalists. The ad, posted on Engel&Volkers, offered the apartment for 700 thousand rubles a month and included amenities such as an Italian designer deck chair covered with gold foil. The hostess, although glamorous, is not related to the Rothenbkrgs-Shestakovs list.
The Tsar’s Corner at 19 Berezovaya is surrounded by four-story residential buildings of the Berezovaya Alley 13-15 quarter. The residents there emphasize the significance of the main location.
These walls are significant to the heirs of the late billionaire Alexei Sargin, who passed away unexpectedly six years ago in a Dubai hotel. Sargin, who experienced being on the wanted list during the raider turmoil in the early 2000s, amassed considerable wealth. One of his well-known assets was Dom Mod JSC, which owns the center of the same name on Kamennoostrovsky Prospekt. Sargin's story was closely linked to the biography of Vasily Vladykovsky, a powerful figure from the 90s.
Several apartments at Berezovaya 13-15 are owned by individuals with the surnames Gvichia, Shcherbakovsky, and Buchin. Together, they are connected to the Stepan Razin Beer Factory from the time it was sold to the Dutch from Heineken. The recent news about Gia Gvichia relates to the removal of tinting from his Rolls-Royce during a police demonstration raid.
The name Georgy Korzhavin is associated with the ship radio-electronic systems of the federal concern Granit-Electron. This is what the acoustics should be like in a two-story apartment of 300 square meters.
In the residential complex at 13-15 Berezovaya Alley, another notable figure is the businessman Maxim Dolgopolov. Over the years, especially during election campaigns for the St. Petersburg parliament, Dolgopolov's political affiliations have shifted rapidly, from United Russia to Just Cause, briefly to the local Liberal Democratic Party, and finally to Just Russia. He also spent time in a Dubai prison in the late 2000s.
Maxim Dolgopolov
Referring to the political party “Fair Russia”, now called “For the Truth”, it's worth noting that the wife of the party's leader, Sergei Mironov, is also interested in this residential complex on Kamenny Island. To some extent, house 13-15 on Berezovaya can be considered an ex-lieutenant governor. For instance, the names of Rashid Ismagilov and Sergei Kozyrev can be found among the apartment owners.
Dmitry Kozharsky
The year 2022 was significant for the prestigious home and marked by a loss. In November, Dmitry Kozharsky, the president of the FOR GROUP fishing industry and a board member of the All-Russian Association of Fisheries, died in a car accident. He was known not only as a prominent figure in the fishing business, but also as a business person interested in real estate in the historical center of St. 13-15. Encumbrance in the form of a mortgage can be seen in the building.
From Miller to space Asya. The best view of St. Petersburg if you live in a Gazprom hostel
The building at Mytninskaya Embankment, 5, is not a newcomer to the elite residential real estate market in St. Petersburg. Until the mid-2000s, this house was primarily residential and was known as the “dormitory on Mytnya”. It's evident that this was a shelter for Soviet and Russian students, even those from prestigious universities like Leningrad State University-St. Petersburg State University.
Today, both the residential building and the neighboring business center are recognized as not the most modern in Russia in terms of technical solutions. The use of iris authentication for the current “Mytni” can be seen as an introductory lecture. The view from these windows has always been exceptional: on one side, Petropavlovka, on the other, the Exchange, and right across the Neva, views of the Hermitage. Undoubtedly, it offers one of the best views in the world.
In terms of value, the market estimates this at around 10 million rubles for each landmark view from the window. With a discount or as a friend, it can be 8 million.
The high-tech architecture made waves for several years when journalists discovered Alexei Miller’s massive apartment on Mytninskaya, allegedly created by combining six relatively smaller ones. Currently, according to the USRN, the owner of these nearly 1,400 square meters is not specified. However, the adjacent 190 square meter apartment is registered to an individual with the same full name as the head of Gazprom.
Alexey Miller
There are only two dozen apartments in our house on the embankment, excluding the thirteenth. Elite housing typically avoids this unlucky number due to superstitions. Moving on, you can find Alexander Bobkov among Miller’s neighbors. This top manager had a unique vantage point over St. Petersburg, overseeing the Gazprom skyscraper Lakhta Center, even during its earlier Okhta days. Elena Ilyukhina is also there; she oversaw the implementation of the Lakhta Center project. Her responsibilities extend beyond the legal and corporate matters of Gazprom Neft, as she also serves on the board of the football club Zenit.
Andrey Kruglov has been the deputy chairman of Gazprom's board since 2004 until 2019 when he became the Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation.
Borisova Asya owns nearly 300 square meters of property. She started with a buffet in the Cosmos bar in the late 80s and later worked on antique shops and the Palace of Congresses complex.
The media mentioned her connection with former deputy manager Ivan Malyushin, who is also associated with the owners of 'Mytni'. A few years ago, a businessman with the same name crashed his Ferrari Portofino in Petrogradka, causing quite a stir.
Elizaveta Molchanova, associated with the LSR group, owns apartments on Mytninskaya, 5 as a result of the group's transformation of the old student fund into modern housing.
Oleg Tinkov with his wife Rina
Near 'Mytnya', there are neighbors such as Rina Vosman, a business partner and wife of Oleg Tinkov. She resides in the third house and has a different view from her windows.
The iconic house on the Moika has undergone changes, attracting notable figures like Sobchak, Von Messing, Boyarsky, and Tambov.
The house at Moyka, 31, is prestigious and is associated with the noble trees: Boyarsky and Sobchak.
Sergei and Mikhail Boyarsky stand together in a picture.
The multi-apartment complex at Moika 31 has around fifty residential premises and many windows with excellent soundproofing, opening directly to the Winter Canal.
The Boyarskys' neighbors, including the future mayor Anatoly Sobchak, his wife Lyudmila Narusova, and 9-year-old Ksyusha, moved into the former communal apartment in 1990. They live on the fourth floor of the building in the center of St. Petersburg. Both Lyudmila Borisovna and Ksenia Anatolyevna still live in the house.
Lyudmila Narusova (left) and Ksenia Sobchak
The closest neighbor of the Boyarskys is officially Elisabeth Elena Von Messing, who has a complex background. Her true identity is Elena Skorodumova, known as Pomidorikha, and has been involved in a sensational story in St. Petersburg. The apartment next to the Boyarskys is also home to the Uralov family, who are also well-known in the local art community. Another famous figure linked to this house during Sobchak's time is the artist Ivan Uralov.
The residents of Moika, 31 have their own social circles and connections. For example, one of the major property owners in the building is Elena Karisalova, who owns three apartments on the second floor. She is known for founding the Still Art cultural fund and being married to Mikhail Karisalov, the CEO of SIBUR, a petrochemical company.
Elena and Mikhail Karisalov
Two apartments in the building are currently available for purchase. One of them, a four-room apartment on the second floor with a view of the Winter Canal, is priced at almost 90 million. Another notable figure linked to this house is Alexander Krepak, who led the St. Petersburg Regional Development Fund during Sobchak's mayorship. After that, he ventured into the glass industry and took charge of the Mariinsky and Turgenev House business centers.
The Vladykovsky surname from St. Petersburg in the 90s is represented by her son in the current house on the river. Notably, his father Vladimir Kumarin, a prominent figure in the past, is associated with various criminal activities. While many of his associates were convicted, his son has managed to evade legal trouble and is likely residing in Europe.
In addition, Moika, 31, knows the well-known thermal physicist Oleg Tsvetkov. The name and surname of Yakov Malinin are primarily associated with the building of the legendary shopping complex, formerly known as the “House of Fashion” on Petrogradskaya. And, for example, Yuri Kudimov has recently been with the board of directors of LSR Group.
Not shameful, but sometimes cheerful company.
