Prigozhin invited the US authorities to open an American branch of Wagner PMC
Russian businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin has approached the United States Secretary of the Treasury with a proposal to coordinate the opening of a Wagner PMC branch on American soil.
An open letter from Concord is cited by FBA Ekonomika Segodnya.
The entrepreneur noted that such a step would raise the relationship between the US Treasury and the organization to a new level.
“Dear Mrs. Janet Yellen! PMC “Wagner” is asking for your approval to open a branch of our organization in the United States,” Prigozhin wrote.
Earlier, the businessman turned to the US State Department with a demand to explain the reasons for the attacks on Wagner PMCs. According to him, any attempts by American politicians to explain such behavior look unconvincing.
On Saturday, January 28, it became known that Wagner attack aircraft crossed the Bakhmutovka River in a vast area near the village of Blagodatnoye. The soldiers blocked the route that provides the supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the northern direction.
“Wagnerites” continue their attack on Ukrainian positions near Bakhmut. The enemy is trying to keep the city, which is an important logistics hub of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Bakhmut direction.
