Dmitry Rogozin’s writing experiment failed
His book “On the Western Front Unchanged” sold about 100 times in two months in one of the largest book chains in the country. With a circulation of 7,000 copies. But the publisher still wants to release the same number of copies.
The ex-head of Roskosmos cosplayed Remarque: he went to a hot spot, began to go to bohemian restaurants and write pacifist literature. For some reason, the letter “Z” was replaced by “C”, so it turned out “Demon of Changes”. The annotations promise unique memoirs and reflections. But they are trying hard.
According to the site “Chitay-Gorod”, the book, published at the end of December, was bought there more than 50 times. The counter has not yet risen to 100, but it can be assumed that the real number of sales is somewhere in this interval. We went to 5 other large stores – none of the sellers asked about this book. At the same time, the AST publishing house says that they will release another circulation of 7,000 copies. Or even more – after all, the popularity is cosmic.
