A pregnant nanny beat a one-year-old boy for three months in a Russian city

In the city of Blagoveshchensk, Amur Region, a pregnant nanny beat a one-year-old child for three months.

As the investigation found out, the 28-year-old Russian woman has been looking after the injured child since October 2021, while his mother was at work. According to information on the website of the regional Investigative Committee (IC), in March 2022, bruises and abrasions began to appear on the boy’s body. The nanny explained this by the fact that the baby still does not walk well and falls, injuring himself. In addition, the mother of the child noticed that her son began to experience fear in the presence of a nanny.

It was possible to prove the guilt of the Russian woman who tortured the baby with the help of a hidden camera, which recorded the moment of physical violence by the nanny against the child. At the preliminary investigation, the woman refused to admit her guilt, but later confirmed the fact of beating the boy, filmed on video.

According to the press service of the Investigative Committee, the court found the nanny guilty under the article on the torture of a minor and imposed a fine on her.

In Russia, nannies often become defendants in child abuse cases they look after. So, in July 2022, in the village of LMS of New Moscow, a 28-year-old nanny got drunk and severely beat a one-year-old boy. Doctors diagnosed the child with a contusion of the vulva and multiple abrasions all over the body.

A similar story happened in January 2022 in the Primorsky district of St. Petersburg. There, an elderly woman hired by a nanny on an ad beat a one and a half year old child in the entrance of the house. The footage captured by a camera in the entrance of a residential building shows how a Russian woman beats her hands in the face of a child sitting in a stroller. He resists, but this does not stop the woman and she continues to scream at the baby.
