In the Krasnodar Territory, United Russia members are raising money to help refugees from the Donbass through a charitable foundation that helps the elderly. The information that the United Russia Volunteer Center in the Kuban has begun raising funds for refugees from the DPR and LPR is posted on the official website of the regional branch of the party.

In the message of the EP it is said that anyone can help the refugees by transferring funds to the account of the LNG Charitable Foundation “Generation”. In the purpose of payment, United Russia is asked to indicate “Donation KUB ER.” According to the SPARK system, the Generation Charitable Foundation and its leader Elizaveta Safonova have nothing to do with United Russia. It was not possible to clarify the information about the fund’s relations with the United Russia in the organization itself: no one answered the phone numbers listed on the Generations website.

A charitable foundation for the “development of a culture of happy and interesting retirement.” “This is the only one in [Краснодарском] Krai fund, where pensioners receive social support, as well as unlimited and free access to classes in various disciplines, ”the website says.

Alexander Korovainy, an assistant to the deputy of the Council of the Yeysk region of the region, a member of Yabloko, wrote in his Telegram channel that funds to help refugees from Donbass are “collected in schools.” “Public sector employees will chip in voluntarily-compulsorily, and the party will then report how they helped the refugees,” Korovainy said. On the basis of what Yabloko made this conclusion, it is not known; Korovainy did not answer questions from a Znak.com correspondent at the time of publication.

The education department of the Yeysk district of the Krasnodar Territory told Znak.com that it was “the first time they heard” about forcing educators to transfer money to help refugees.

The flow of refugees from the territories of the self-proclaimed LPR and DPR has been coming to Russia since the evening of February 18. Officially – because of the possible offensive of the Ukrainian army in the Donbass. The nearest evacuation point is the Rostov region, where an emergency mode was introduced. At first, refugees were distributed along the border zone, now they are being taken to large cities: Rostov-on-Don, Aksai, Taganrog, etc.
