42% of those who received the “golden passport” of Montenegro in 2022 are Russians

The Russians became the largest group of those who received Montenegrin citizenship by investment – for this they had to shell out hundreds of thousands of euros. Montenegrin citizenship gives the right to visa-free entry to Europe, and in the future, after Montenegro joins the EU, and an EU passport.

The new citizenship can now boast, for example, the founder of the Krasnoe & Beloe network Sergey Studennikov with his wife, the former adviser to the head of the Accounts Chamber Nikita Pipko with his family, the former United Russia deputy Konstantin Klyuka, also with his family, as well as the daughter and son-in-law of the former deputy Beglov, presidential envoy to the Northwestern Federal District Lyubov Sovershaeva.
