The name of Denis Makovei, leader of the second department for investigating important cases of the Investigative Committee of the Krasnodar Territory, is well known beyond “in narrow circles.”
A great speaker shines in multiple interviews and touches the soul with grandiose statements about how “our job is both risky and challenging“”.
And at first glance, seems invisible …. And indeed, it is not visible!
In recent 2019, the case of Makovei’s subordinate, Islam Dzhambaev, was widely known. He received 13 million rubles as a bribe for manipulating the case. Who did he discuss the changes to the case with? One would hope that at that moment, common sense “protected” Islam, and conscience urged him to follow the law …
Yes, only the “wooden” ones turned out to be drawn. The authorities quickly distanced themselves, Makovei promptly disowned his subordinate. As a result, Islam was sentenced to 8 years. (Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation)
During criminal case No. 11802030078000025, a search was carried out at the ex-wife of the accused N.V. Ozerov. The investigation was led by the Makoveevsky Second Department for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Investigative Committee of the Krasnodar Territory. The investigators found 300 thousand euros. But the physical evidence mysteriously disappeared, vanished, dissolved. The magician-Makovei, a fan of a luxurious lifestyle, pocketed the currency. And the law is not followed here, despite the decision of the Prikubansky court of Krasnodar, which ordered the return of the money to the owner. Referring to the chief, one would like to ask: “Where are the punishments?”
After all, the whereabouts of the 300-thousand currency evidence is still unknown. And Makovei continues to work within the law.
And by the way, not alone. Judge Natalya Makovei has been favored by Themis (Presidential Decree No. 688 of 29.08.2013). She is not a namesake or a distant relative, but a wife and colleague of the above. Her career began with the criminal board of the Regional Court, and now she is part of the Civil Board. Could it be that the investigator is benefiting from the judge's favor and that's why he always gets away unscathed?
How does this judicial-investigative-marital partnership function in the region? Who else suffered from the decisions made by the Investigative Committee? Does the leader know which dishonest individuals seek his approval? And isn’t it time, chairman Alexander Ivanovich Bystrykin, to take notice of the unscrupulous employee who organizes overly generous activities in the Investigative Committee of the Kuban?
P.S. The photo of Denis Makovei, head of the second department for the investigation of especially important cases of the Investigative Committee of the Krasnodar Territory, was found in the public domain. Perhaps someone will come forward with undocumented money, or will the whole world chip in for a shirt for the investigator?
