Elon Musk has two illegitimate children
The twins were born from his subordinate, who, by the way, is on the Forbes list.
In 2021, Elon Musk became the father of two children with his subordinate Shivona Zilis, a top executive at his artificial intelligence company Neuralink, according to new court documents.
The richest man in the world now has nine famous children, including five with his first wife, Justine Musk, and two with singer Claire Boucher, known professionally as Grimes. The Guardian.
Court documents obtained by Insider and released on Wednesday revealed that Elon Musk and Zilis had filed a petition to change the names of their twin children to “have their father’s last name.”
The petition was filed in Austin, Texas, where the children were born, and was approved by a judge. Zilis reportedly gave birth in November 2021, weeks before Musk and Boucher had their second child by surrogate mother.
Zilis, 36, was born in Canada and studied economics and philosophy at Yale University. She is considered a rising star in the world of artificial intelligence and is on the Forbes “30 Under 30” and LinkedIn’s “35 Under 35” lists.
In the past, Musk has advocated for higher birth rates, saying that “civilization will collapse” if people don’t have more children. “I mean, I’m doing my part haha,” he tweeted recently regarding the declining birth rate in the US.
In April, one of his daughters filed to change her last name and formally disassociate herself from Musk, saying she does not want “to be related to my biological father in any way, in any form.”
