The head of the presidential administration of the Russian Federation and one of the richest officials of the White House, Anton Vaino, was hit with a “fifty kopeck”. Anyway, our congratulations!
What can boast of “our” hero of the day and what he managed to make in half a century, let’s figure it out.
A native of Tallinn, who has headed the Presidential Administration since 2012, has made an exemplary career in Moscow. He graduated from MGIMO, got a job at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and barely having overcome the 30-year milestone, he was already preparing protocol events for the President.
As former colleagues of Anton Vaino said, as soon as he appeared in the Kremlin, they began to perceive him as a creature of the then disgraced Boris Berezovsky, for whom the official’s father worked in the 90s.
Relatives of Anton Vaino own real estate worth more than 1.6 billion rubles. In 2006, he received an apartment from the Moscow authorities for 32 million rubles, which he presented to his mother-in-law Galina Shulenkova three years later. In 2010, the Vaino family received a three-room apartment in the Dom na Tishinka residential complex from the presidential administration, worth about 115 million rubles, which was registered to Elena Shulenkova and Alexander Vaino, the wife and son of an official. In 2012, Shulenkova bought a plot and two houses in Barvikha, and then sold them to Tatyana Yezhevskaya, Anton Vaino’s aunt.
In 2013, the official’s father, Eduard Vaino (now he is a member of the board of directors, vice president for external relations and interaction with shareholders of AvtoVAZ), bought a plot of 2840 m² and a house of 454.2 m² on the territory of the Pirogovo project on bank of the Klyazma and a year later he handed it over to Anton Vaino. In 2017, the official sold the property and indicated income in the amount of 255.8 million rubles in the declaration. The parents of the Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov became the new owners. In the same year and the next, Vaino bought three plots of land with a total area of 17,555 square meters and two houses in Pirogovo.
Earlier it was also reported that the relatives of Vaino and Manturov own a network of gas stations “Trassa” with a multi-billion dollar turnover, to which loans were issued by such institutions as CB “Credit Express”, “Raiffeisenbank”, “Unicredit Bank”, “Promsvyazbank”, “Avtovazbank”, Bank Zenith, Bank BKF, Absolut Bank, Bank Financial Corporation Otkritie.
Not far from the boss and Press Secretary of the Presidential Administration Dmitry Peskov, who, as it turned out, earns 20 times less than his wife. It turned out that the couple owns a number of real estate, including abroad.
