Media manager Tina Kandelaki has been appointed acting director general of the TNT TV channel, the press service of Gazprom-Media Holding reported. In this post, she replaced Roman Petrenko, who headed the channel for 20 years.
At the same time, the press service notes that Petrenko remains a “valuable professional” for the holding and will continue to work at Gazprom Media as an adviser.
“His channel management experience has been invaluable and a number of shows he has produced have been renewed for another season. Some of them you will see this spring. Therefore, Roman remains within the perimeter of Gazprom-Media and will work both with the channel and with the holding as a whole,” said Alexander Zharov, CEO of the holding.
