During the divorce process and after it, the woman was in a state of acute conflict with the businessman. In January last year, Marina Chaika was held for several hours by men who introduced themselves as members of the special services and put pressure on her morally.
After the abduction of the ex-wife of a businessman and son of the former Prosecutor General of Russia Artem Chaika, Marina was forced to leave Moscow. According to the lawyer representing her interests, Ekaterina Gordon, Marina Chaika now lives again in Tomsk, where she comes from.
According to Gordon, the Investigative Committee of Russia has repeatedly filed complaints about the abduction of Marina Chaika, but the law enforcement system is inactive, probably due to the fact that this is a crime in which Artem Chaika may be involved.
In January last year, it was reported that Marina Chaika had been kidnapped. The woman was tricked into coming to an agreed place, after which they grabbed her, pushed her into a car and took her to some basement. She was held there for several hours by men who introduced themselves as intelligence officers. They asked Chaika questions about her real estate, the work of lawyers and in every possible way morally pressed, and also took away her phone.
Recall that the wife of the eldest son of the former Prosecutor General Artem Chaika Marina, who had been married to him for more than twenty years and gave birth to his fourth children, decided to publicize her conflict with her ex-husband in the middle of summer 2020. Then Ekaterina Gordon published on her YouTube channel a video message from a woman, her daughters and son, which told about the situation. Chaika said that she did not claim her husband’s property during a divorce. She just needs to break off her marriage with him, but a problem arose with this – Chaika stubbornly does not want to meet her halfway. By the way, the next day after the publication of the video message, the marriage was nevertheless annulled.
