Dulata Youlo, known in criminal circles as Ahmed Sutuly, who was accused of occupying the highest position in the criminal hierarchy, was found not guilty by the jury and released right in the courtroom, a REN TV correspondent reports.
The information was confirmed by the defendant’s lawyer Roman Maidanchuk.
In a trial before a jury, Youlo claimed that he did not understand what he was accused of and did not commit the crime he was charged with. In turn, the prosecutor claimed that the case file contains video recordings in which the person involved tells that he is a thief in law. Sutuly said it was “montage”.
Testimony against Youlu, according to the prosecution, was given by Zakhary Kalashov, aka Shakro Molodoy.
For Joulo, this is not the first criminal case. The first time he was detained with a bag of drugs in January 2017, however, after the deadline for detention had expired, he was released on bail.
Sutuly was arrested again with drugs in August 2018. Meanwhile, at the beginning of August 2019, the term of arrest expired already in the second case of possession of heroin.
