In Krasnoyarsk, a criminal investigation has been completed on charges of Anatoly Bykov of incitement to commit murder for hire and attempted murder for hire of two businessmen.
This was announced on Monday, February 7, by the official representative of the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) Yulia Arbuzova.
The criminal case was sent by the investigators to the Prosecutor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory for approval of the indictment and sent to the court for consideration on the merits. The investigation found that in 2004 Bykov decided to kill a 42-year-old local entrepreneur, and then another 38-year-old businessman. He several times invited a friend of the killer to visit the village of Udachny and instructed to commit murders.
At the same time, during one of the meetings, Bykov asked to change the sequence and first deal with a 38-year-old competitor, and then take on a 42-year-old opponent. The killer followed both targets, studying the routes of movement. For this work, the customer promised the killer 50 thousand dollars.
However, as a result, the killer received only 10 thousand dollars. The fact is that on November 1, 2004, he attacked his victim, who was driving a car along Stanovaya Street, but despite seven shots from a Kalashnikov assault rifle, he failed to kill the victim. He prepared more carefully for the second murder, and on January 18, 2005, he shot the target with a TT pistol in a garage area. As a result, Bykov reduced the fee, since the first murder was not successful, and preparations for the second went too long.
On September 7, 2021, the Sverdlovsky District Court in Krasnoyarsk sentenced former deputy and businessman Anatoly Bykov, on the basis of a jury verdict, to 13 years in prison in the case of organizing a double murder in 1994.
