Ukrainian singer Sofia Rotaru told subscribers that she had been ill with coronavirus. According to the artist, the new Omicron strain has caused complications that she continues to struggle with.
This 74-year-old singer said in his Instagram. The star was supported by Ukrainian and foreign colleagues, wishing her strength and a speedy recovery.
The singer wrote that she was seriously ill for two weeks, did not sleep at night and fought for her health. Now the disease has receded, but left behind unpleasant consequences.
“Dear friends and people close to me! So Omicron got to me. Two weeks of sleepless nights and the struggle for health. Coronavirus is defeated, but not without complications,” the message says.
Rotaru thanked the doctors, nurses and family who helped her “keep the situation under control,” and also stressed that she still needed time and energy to finally return to the previous rhythm of life.
