The State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Montenegro, Zoran Milyanich, was banned from entering the territory of Russia. The corresponding note was sent to the Embassy of Montenegro in the Russian Federation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
About it says on the website of the department.
“This measure is a response to an unfriendly step taken by the Montenegrin authorities in October 2021 — granting political asylum to a citizen of the Russian Federation, Telman Ismailov, who was put on the international wanted list through Interpol for committing especially serious crimes on the territory of the Russian Federation,” the report says.
Ismailov was charged in Russia in absentia with murder and arms trafficking. In the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the entrepreneur is considered the organizer of the murder in May 2016 of businessmen Vladimir Savkin and Yuri Brylev. According to investigators, the accused developed a crime plan together with his brothers Rafik and Vagif Ismailov.
