Prigozhin in response to the governor of the Sverdlovsk region remembered Stalin

The founder of the private military company (PMC) “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin responded to criticism from the governor of the Sverdlovsk region Yevgeny Kuyvashev, who said that he was “poking his nose” into the regional administration. Prigozhin’s comment is published by his press service.

Earlier, Kuyvashev, in response to the statements of the head of Wagner, indicated that everyone should mind their own business. “If every businessman who makes money on school meals tries to run the country, we won’t get far,” he said, referring to the catering business owned by Prigozhin.

Responding to these words, the founder of PMC “Wagner” remembered Joseph Stalin. “During the war of 1941-1945, which is being repeated now, Stalin like you and [губернатор Санкт-Петербурга Александр] Beglov, simply shot. I think we’ll get back to it soon. I am sure that the time is not far off when the people will reach the boiling point and lift you and people like you up on the pitchfork,” he said.

Prigozhin added that he ceased to be an entrepreneur on the day the special operation in Ukraine began. From that day on, he devoted himself to managing the Wagner PMC, while the head of the Sverdlovsk region “remained sitting in a warm office.”

Kuyvashev’s words came in response to Prigozhin’s statement on February 22. Then the founder of the PMC “Wagner” said that some regions of Russia “frankly crap” – for example, in the Sverdlovsk region, the authorities refuse to bury the participants of the special operation with honors.
