Russian university teacher accused of accepting bribes for passing exams
In Chelyabinsk, an associate professor at one of the departments of the Ural State University of Physical Culture (UralSUPC) was charged with corruption.
On Tuesday, February 14, Lente.ru was informed by the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).
According to the agency, from 2019 to 2020, a teacher at a Russian university took remuneration from a student for passing exams. In total, she received 80 thousand rubles.
The crimes were revealed by employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Chelyabinsk region. In fact, a case was initiated under part 3 of article 290 (“Taking a bribe”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Earlier it became known that in the Kemerovo region, a 29-year-old former teacher of the Taiga Institute of Railway Transport (TIZhT) will be convicted of taking bribes and forgery.
