The Chinese currency strengthened against the ruble to the highest since the beginning of 2023.

The Russian ruble on Wednesday afternoon, February 8, weakened against the main world currencies, the largest drop is observed against the yuan, a DOFA correspondent reports.

As follows from the data of the Moscow Exchange, at present the exchange rate of the Chinese currency is 10 rubles and 52 kopecks. The indicator was at its maximum since January 9, 2023.

The dollar adds at the same time 33 kopecks, up to 71 rubles and 48 kopecks, the euro – 53 kopecks, up to 76 rubles and 59 kopecks.
