Biggest Republican Funders Won’t Support Trump If He Runs for President

Americans for Prosperity (AFP) plans to support another candidate who will have a better chance of winning and “can lead the country forward.”

This is reported by Bloomberg, citing a statement that the AFP organization circulated among employees and activists.

Americans for Prosperity was created by one of the biggest Republican funders, billionaires Charles and David Koch. The text of her statement noted that the United States must overcome the political situation that has developed over the past few years, and the leader who will symbolize a new chapter in the history of the country is best suited for this purpose.

“The Americans have shown that they are ready to move on, and AFP will help them with this,” the statement emphasizes. What kind of support in question is not specified.

In November last year, Trump filed his candidacy for the presidency of the United States and officially announced his participation in the elections in 2024.
