Taliban orders universities to keep girls out of entrance exams
The Taliban-run Afghan Ministry of Higher Education has ordered universities to prevent girls from taking university entrance exams next month.
It is reported by Reuters.
The ministry’s letter was addressed to institutions in Afghanistan’s northern provinces, including Kabul, where exams are due from the end of February. The letter stated that those institutions that did not comply with the rules would be held accountable.
