Elon Musk pointed to the danger “for the whole world” in the event of a “ruthless escalation in Ukraine”
American businessman Elon Musk called the situation “extremely dangerous” if the United States decides to support Ukrainian strikes on Crimea.
The billionaire wrote about this on Twitter.
“I fully support Ukraine, but a ruthless escalation is extremely dangerous for Ukraine and the whole world,” the post says.
Musk’s post was posted under a link to a New York Times article about Joe Biden’s ready to help Ukraine target Crimea and strike at the peninsula, even if such a move increases the risk of escalation. Thus, the owner of Twitter commented on the publication’s information. According to the newspaper, the US administration “is beginning to lean toward the possibility that Kyiv may need” funds to strike in Crimea, even if such a move would increase the risk of an escalation of violence.
Meanwhile, Deputy Pentagon Spokesperson Sabrina Singh confirmed the paper’s findings at a briefing yesterday, saying that The United States will support Ukraine, including a possible operation to seize the Crimea.
